As every year, the Albanian Swimming Federation organized the championship in the 25 m pool of Stela Sport Center. 6 teams participated in the event, where the Stela Swimming Academy was declared the absolute champion for adults and youth.

“Te Stela” Swimming Academy wins 26 medals at the international event “Delfin Cup”

The Swimming Academy “Te Stela” shines at the “Delfin Cup” event held in Skopje, continuing the tradition of dignified performances and improving results in international competitions. At this event, “AN Te Stela” was represented by swimmers of young and young ages, who won 26 medals in total, of which 14 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals.

Swimmer Arla Dërmishi broke 2 national records for ages 11-12 in the 50 & 100 m “Butterfly” style. Swimmer Mark Ducaj was declared “Best Swimmer” of the entire event. Also, Ducaj set 3 national records for Adults in the 200, 400 & 800 m “Freestyle”.

The “Te Stela” Swimming Academy thanks all the swimmers for achieving these very good results, as well as coaches Sadik Mema and Eduart Cane for the hard work they do every day.

The commemorative activity of the “Ilir Gjebrea” Cup takes place at Stela Resort

Te Stela Resort and Te Stela Swimming Academy continue to contribute maximally to the development and promotion of the sport of swimming. Also, Te Stela Resort has become a “home” for swimming activities. One of them was the commemorative activity “Ilir Gjebrea” Cup, in memory of the Grand Master of swimming, who passed away a year ago due to Covid-19.

The activity was organized by the National Association of Swimming Veterans in collaboration with Te Stela Resort and RTSH Sport, and was attended by veteran swimmers from all over Albania and Kosovo, as well as swimmers from the Te Stela Swimming Academy, to honor the figure of the “Grand Master”, Ilir Gjebrea. The National Association of Swimming Veterans awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to former champion Gjebrea with the motivation: “for the outstanding contribution to the sport of swimming in Albania through excellent swimming results, serving as a role model for generations.

Gjebrea was one of the swimming record holders who competed mainly in the 100 and 200 meters and was known by the nickname “the shark”.

A year without Klavio Meça!

The Albanian Swimming Federation organized the “Klavio Meça Cup” activity at the Te Stela Sport Center.

Family, friends, coaches and swimmers from all over Albania remembered the champion Klavio Meça with tears. He was a symbol of work, sacrifice and a good man who will serve all those who practice this sport. Absolute record holder in 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 meters freestyle. He was also the record holder in 400 m freestyle at the World Swimming Championships held in Budapest in 2017. The “Klavio Meça Cup” will be held every year to remember the name of a champion who will never be forgotten.

Te Stela Resort wins the “Family Tourism” award at the “Balkan Tourism Industry Awards” event, BATI 2021

Grateful and motivated after the next award in the Tourism Industry.

On December 2, at the “ Awards Ceremony in the Balkan Tourism Industry ”, BATI 2021 event held in Sofia, Bulgaria, Te Stela Resort won the “Family Tourism” award. A great honor for Te Stela Group to be recognized with another award in the field of tourism, making us grateful, happy and more motivated to continue the path we started many years ago. We are committed to continuing to have Albanian hospitality as a reference point in 2022: Home belongs to God and to the Friend!

Minister of Education and Sports, meeting with the best swimmers in
Te Stela Swimming Academy

The Te Stela Swimming Academy continues to be a point of reference in terms of its development and contribution to the development of the sport of swimming. Recently, a meeting was held at this academy between the Minister of Education and Sports, Mrs. Evis Kushi, and the best swimmers of Albania, where the Te Stela Swimming Academy had the majority of athletes, champions over the years.

This meeting was made possible by the Albanian Swimming Federation with Ms. Kushi, who will continue to be at the head of the Ministry of Education and Sports. The purpose of this meeting was to support the sport of swimming, encourage children and young people to enter this sport and improve the conditions for these athletes. As has become a tradition, the winter pools of the Te Stela Swimming Academy were selected as the place that meets the basic conditions and criteria for the development of teaching with qualified coaches and instructors over the years and with several years of experience.
Te Stela Swimming Academy will always be maximally committed to making its contribution to the development of swimming in Albania.

Albanian Children’s Swimming Championship/ “Te Stela” Swimming Academy wins 121 medals

The Albanian Children’s Swimming Championship took place at Stela Resort on May 13-15, 2022.

The “Te Stela” Swimming Academy continues the tradition by being declared absolute champions for men and women. In this championship, our Academy swimmers secured:

Top 65 places

32 second places

24 third places

Also, 9 National Records were recorded, of which 5 were team and 4 were individual.

Arla Dermishi – Best Swimmer for Category B

Evie Asllanaj – Best Swimmer for Category C

Albi Deda – Best Swimmer for Category C

Stela Sport Center organizes the “Independence Cup 2021”

The activity will take place on November 27 at the Sport Center “Te Stela Resort” from 09:30 to 13:00. Judging will be carried out by the FSHN referee, in accordance with the regulations for national activities. Each swimmer can participate in three races.

Participation fee: 500 lekë for each participant.

Rating:

The three winners of each competition are awarded diplomas. The winning team, Men + Women (adults), is awarded the activity cup.

Dekorohet trajneri Sadik Mema

The coach of the Te Stela Swimming Academy, Sadik Mema, is decorated with the title “Grand Master” by the President of the Republic

Proud to have as part of our Swimming Academy one of the best swimming coaches in Albania, Sadik Mema. The former swimming champion who leads the AN Te Stela team, who holds 198 national records in 25 and 50 meter pools, has been decorated with the title of “Grand Master” by the President of the Republic, Mr. Ilir Meta.

“The emotion is great because we return to the most beautiful memories of life. Those years when we swam, competed and won in competitions. I have connected my life with sport and continue to be part of it. I thank the President of the Republic, Mr. Ilir Meta and the President of the Albanian Swimming Federation, Mr. Agim Çiraku”, – says among other things in his speech coach Mema in the Special chronicle broadcast by RTSH Sport.
